Callooh! Callay! It is finally time to share this amazing Alice in Underland wedding inspiration! From the beautiful purple rosette linens (Campbell Tent and Party Rentals) to the fun silver clocks and fabulous cake (Sweet Beginnings by Elaine), Lindsay with Custom Love Gifts did a wonderful job of styling this fun and fabulously inspired wedding at the Knoxville Zoo. The gorgeous avant garde hairstyle by Linda Nunes (Southern Sirens) was something I have never seen before, and I loved the whimsical makeup by Amanda McKnight (Southern Sirens). The florals provided by Melissa Timm Designs set off the beautiful display, especially the cascading centerpiece, and the sweets provided by Bradford Caterered Events were not only adorable–they were super tasty as well. And, let us not forget the dress–have you espied the dress yet?? Layers and layers of gorgeous tulle and lacy accents make up this confection (Wedding Wonderland).
It is always so much fun photographing something unique and different–even more so when it brings up childhood memories. I’m a major book lover from way back, and “Through the Looking Glass” was a story I enjoyed when I was very young (along with the silly Disney series based on it), and I was particularly fascinated with the Jabberwocky poem–all of those nonsense words were just so much fun!
