Austin and Aubree’s Proposal at Wormsloe Historic Site

I am so lucky. I have grown up in a very tight knit family. My two first cousins have always felt more like brothers. My eldest cousin, Andy, and I were super close–two peas in a pod. We hated his little brother Austin. He was always trying to get us to let him play with us, telling on us (for stuff we didn’t do, of course), and just generally making our young lives miserable. I even had a scrapbook page dedicated to him with some devil horns drawn on his photo. As we grew a little older, I began to appreciate him more, and as adults (though we don’t often get to see each other and text probably less than we should), when we are together all the distance fades away–it’s a wonderful thing! The past few years, I have slowly been introduced to Aubree Woodard, his girlfriend. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know her, and I’m extra excited to have been able to be the first to welcome her to the family when this happened on October 14th…
