Brittany and Bryan’s Amazingly Awesome DIY Vintage Country Wedding with Knoxville Wedding Photographer

I am so SOOO very excited to share this wedding day with you. You may remember Brittany and Bryan from their engagement session in December—they were so very adorable together. 🙂 Well…. their wedding day finally rolled around, and everything about it was gorgeous. She, her mother, and her mother’s friend, Susan, made all kinds of amazing decorations and put together a fabulous event.

My doctor, her husband, and their neighbors introduced us, and we had our first date on July 9, 2011. We met for drinks and appetizers at Longhorn in Sevierville.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding day? That it was close to home & simple.

He proposed at the overlook at Windrock Park while we were camping over the weekend for Fall Jamboree.

So… when we met up with Brittany that day, she shared some crazy cool news with us. She had texted Bryan about it, but he luckily didn’t get the text so she was able to share with him during their first look which just made it that much more special. You may be able to guess from some of the pictures what the news was. If you haven’t guessed by the end of the blog post, take a close look at the photo booth picture of them. 🙂

Take a look at these beautiful details that Jennifer was able to capture…

Bryan may or may not have shed a few tears because he was so overwhelmed by Brittany’s gorgeous self… then a few more when she shared the news.

Did you have any DIY projects? If so, what, where did you get the ideas, is it something you would do over again?   Everything was pretty much DIY- a lot of the ideas came from Pinterest, Etsy & Susan.  DIY is a lot of work but I’d do it again- all the little touches had much more meaning.

What is the thing you love most about the other person? Brittany: It’s so hard to pick just one thing!  Bryan has exposed me to a whosle different way of life & I learn something new from him every day.
Bryan: Everything but I’d say her personality.
We love to take the boat out on the lake, camp, and go 4-wheeling in the RAZR.
