So… these two had an engagement session earlier this year that you might recall–with a guitar, a cute pup, and all kinds of adorableness. Their wedding has finally come to pass, and I am so excited to share photos!! Their wedding was at The Museum of Appalachia near Knoxville, Tennessee. The day was bright and hot, but you couldn’t tell it by looking at these two. Candace looked like an adorable little pixie, and Rob had some dapper charm sprinkled on him. Rob and Candace met at a songwriting festival, and their love story has been filled with music ever since. They have a band (just the two of them) called The Rock Candies, and it sounds fantastic… like a mix between the Lumineers, the Civil Wars, and Mumford and Sons. (I’m listening to them now, by the way.) Candace’s bouquet is made of sheet music from a song they sing together. They had all kinds of DIY moments with cute guitars (his instrument) and banjos (her instrument), and they used polka dots as a sweet little touch. I loved that she chose to do a floral crown of baby’s breath (made by LB Floral). Its delicate beauty perfectly complemented her personality. They told me that this wedding was going to be all about the food–and everything certainly looked tasty! They had a biscuit hour instead of a cocktail hour (biscuits provided by Tupelo Honey Cafe), and they even had the Biscuit Bard there performing some fun biscuit songs (along with some big fans). Then, after their delicious dinner (provided by Sweet P’s), they had not only cupcakes but also handmade gourmet popsicles by the Pop Culture. Everything about their wedding was so uniquely them. 🙂 I also got to hear some really fun stories about Candace when her father got up for his toast.
