It’s amazing how photo quality and the attitude of taking them has changed since I was a child. However, looking back at the pictures I have from then, they are no less important and often capture or make you feel just as much emotion.
This particular photo isn’t anything important–just me playing with a toy as a child. It’s a little blurry, not particularly well composed, and there’s a bunch of extraneous stuff in the background. However, I remember that toy. I remember the way it felt to play with it, and how much fun I had in the backyard where I grew up. Parents, don’t be afraid to document even the smallest moments with your child. It’s amazing the memories a photo can reconstruct. 🙂
