Charleston, Sunrise, and an Adorable Couple

So… a couple of months ago, I took a trip to Charleston to visit my aunt and uncle. It was a blast! Family, fun, beach, shopping, food… what more could a girl ask for? The only thing it was missing was Loki, and I don’t think a kitty would enjoy the beach all that much. While there, I tried my first ever bowl of clam chowder—yum, went through a church that had been converted into a bar, and saw some amazing artwork in the art galleries. We also went through the open air market which was really neat… lots of interesting people there. In fact, I came upon a couple that was vacationing in the area, and they were so adorable that I propositioned them immediately to try to get a photo. She was in a vintage looking lacy dress, and he had a handlebar mustache, suspenders, and a funky little hat. The last day we were there, Ian and I got up early to catch the sunrise on the beach. We almost missed it because we had forgotten to bring money for the meter, but we made it in time. Charleston is definitely a place I recommend for a laid back vacation.
