On a cool, drizzly Halloween afternoon, I met Jamie and Michael in Sevierville, Tennessee in a field full of tall grass with a beautiful rustic barn in the background. They brought their umbrella, I brought my camera, and we had such a lovely time playing in the rain! He proposed two years earlier in Gatlinburg so they came back to the area for their wedding and managed to squeeze in some engagement photography while they were here. I love the colors of the tall grass mixed in with the gorgeous dark skies. Fall is such a great time for photos in our area because of the color in the trees, and people really take advantage of it.
Though I only met them the day before their wedding, I felt like we really clicked. I felt so comfortable with them, and I really enjoyed watching the way they interacted–so adorable!
I always recommend engagement sessions so that we have a chance to loosen you up before your wedding day, and I was so pleased to be able to spend two days in a row with these guys!! By the time we met up on their wedding day to take photos, they knew exactly what to expect, and they looked so beautiful!
