Jordan and Joseph’s Vintage Country Wedding

I think you are going to LOVE the details of this absolutely gorgeous wedding! I am so excited to share. 🙂 Jordan and Joseph were married at his parent’s house in Knoxville, Tennessee, on a beautiful but ferociously hot afternoon in June. In fact, this wedding was extra special to me because this is where I spent my 30th birthday–what better way to celebrate than be surrounded by love!

We met through two mutual friends and have been together two years.

Our first date was a blind double date set up by our friends. We met at a bowling alley.

He proposed at market square during Christmas season. We were all taking pictures in front of the Christmas tree when he got down on one knee and pulled out the ring.

For fun, we love doing anything that involves water as well as going to the movies.

My favorite quality of his is his personality.

Although the weather was awesome and I was glad that everything went smoothly, my favorite thing about my wedding day was marrying the love of my life!

Jordan and Joseph decided to do a first look before their ceremony, and he seemed so excited to get to see her.

Take a look at these great images my assistant, Ian (also my most wonderful husband), was able to get from his angle while I was concentrating on the other side.

Oooooh! I love the sweet cheek kisses. 🙂 Jordan wanted to wait until after the ceremony for a real kiss.

Check out these silly gals and guys.

The girls had a quick prayer before the ceremony which was amazingly moving–especially when her soon-to-be sister-in-law welcomed her to the family.

Pretty much all of the decorations and party favors were DIY. Most of the ideas came from Pinterest, and, yes, we would do them again because everything turned out really pretty.

Ahhhh, the first kiss as husband and wife!

And then more kissing. 🙂

His mom made this beautiful cake.

Congratulations Jordan and Joseph!!
