Finally, finally, finally… I am getting this blog post up. It took me forever to decide which images to use in this post because there were so many beautiful, fun things happening that day that I really want to include. So… I believe this post will be broken down into several parts for those with slower internet connections. You know who you are. 🙂
Anyway… You may remember Kerri and Dominick from their engagement photos that I posted recently. They came into town a few days before the wedding, and we were able to do their engagement session then–also vintage. After spending some time with them during the session, I was really excited to have the chance to photograph their wedding.
The day of the wedding dawned beautiful and clear but then quickly covered with clouds. While the girls were at their hair appointment, I met up with the boys to document them setting up the area and then get some of the groomsmen photos out of the way. As people started arriving, I noticed that even the guests were dressing to fit in with the vintage theme. How cool is that?
Here are some of the guests I was telling you about… So cute!!
Everybody is prepping for the big event… hoping that the rain clouds will go away…
Oh… did I mention that the bride made these beautiful boutonnieres and corsages for the boys and the mother of the bride? I think they’re fabulous!
And, as you can see here, the rain did not wait on us, but it certainly didn’t diminish the beauty of these lovely ladies…
More to come…
