I’m so excited to share this engagement shoot with you!! I just loved being around Megan, Nicholas, and Megan’s family. I think this pretty lady is the inspiration for the phrase delicate English rose. With that porcelain skin, she just glows on camera, and Nick is a perfect prop to show off all of that pretty. 😉 This is one of the few times that I like the black and white images as much as I do the color—it just makes her eyes pop. The dogwoods were in full bloom when we met at Knoxville Botanical Gardens, and we had gorgeous weather that day.
Megan and Nick met in an English class at MTSU in 2010, but although they ran into each other often, they didn’t start dating until after Nick asked her out on Valentine’s Day in 2013. She was told to drive to an unknown address, and he had dinner prepared for her on the roof of a building with balloons and gifts. How sweet is that?!? He proposed next April at a date at Fine Senses where he had a hidden photographer (after asking dad’s permission, of course).
I think one of the things I enjoy most about being around them is getting to hear the fabulous English accent. Megan’s peeks out occasionally, but her mother and father have the full monty–it’s awesome! They are all so laid back and sweet. Taking the engagement photos just made me more excited for the wedding—2016 is going to have to get here soon!
