Mikhail and Ashley’s Rainy Day Engagement Session at Ijams Nature Center with Knoxville Wedding Photographer

I met this adorable couple at The Pink Bride’s January bridal show this year, and they won an engagement session with me. 🙂 We planned our session at Ijam’s Nature Center in Knoxville, TN, and, when the time got near, we found out it would be raining. “Oh, no!” you might think, but we decided to see what we could do with the rain. I’m so glad we did!!

I opened my eyes

And looked up at the rain,

And it dripped in my head

And flowed into my brain,

And all that I hear as I lie in my bed

Is the slishity-slosh of the rain in my head.

I step very softly,

I walk very slow,

I can’t do a handstand–

I might overflow,

So pardon the wild crazy thing I just said–

I’m just not the same since there’s rain in my head.
