Do you plan on doing your own makeup for your wedding or engagement photos? I highly recommend using a makeup artist because it will make you feel pampered and give you lots of confidence–which is always good for pictures. 🙂 However, not everyone chooses to use a makeup artist for various reasons. To help those ladies get the best look possible, Amanda with Southern Sirens has put together a list of the best beauty products that you can use for your session (or everyday) that won’t break the bank.
From Amanda…
PRIMER: It builds a smoother base for your foundation and provides staying power as well. We recommend E.L.F Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer-$6(Target and online) & for super oily faces we like Rimmel Stay Matte Primer-$6 (Walmart)
Foundation: It evens out the complexion, and helps cover up minor imperfections. We are a big fan of L’Oreal True Match-$9-$11 (Most drug stores)
Blush: It helps brighten your face and add dimension and color. You do not want to look washed out. E.L.F Studio Blush Palette gives you the choice of 4 colors-$6(Target and online)
Lips: For soft kissable lips, we recommend using E.L.F. Studio Lip Exfoliator-$3 (Target and online), then wipe with a warm wash cloth, and topping with Maybelline Baby Lips Medicated Lip Balm-$3 (Most drug stores). A great natural lip color is Wet-N-Wild 901c -$2 (Most drug stores)
Mascara: We definitely recommend using a waterproof formula such as Maybelline Falsies-$6(Most drug stores) or Rimmel Scandal Eyes-$6 (Walmart)
Eyeliners: We recommend a water proof formula with a marker tip. This allows for an easier application. We like Rimmel Scandal Eyes-$6(Walmart) and E.L.F. Essential Waterproof Eyeliner Pen-$2(Target and Online)
Eyeshadow: For a natural, classic look that will withstand the ages try NYX shadow palettes in Natural or Adorable-$7.50 (ULTA and online)
With these products you will not only be able to create a beautiful wedding day look, but also every day looks for weeks to come.
