Sara and Jimmy are Married — Knoxville Wedding Photographer

Sara and Jimmy +1 are now bonded as a family unit. Woohoo! They were married at the Roosevelt Lodge in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on October 27, 2012. This sweet couple met during a game of volleyball. Not too much later, Sara told her family that this was the guy she would marry–he just didn’t know it yet. 🙂

They decided to have a first look moment before the ceremony, and the expression on his face was super sweet.

You may have guessed already, but Sara is expecting…. and she positively glowed that day. I loved the little scrunchy face she made when she got really happy or tickled at something–too cute!

Sara’s family has a tradition of doing a pumpkin carving party before Halloween, and they didn’t let a little thing like being away from home stop them. These terrifyingly cute pumpkins would surely keep the ghouls away.

Her flowers were arranged by Cupid’s Petals, and they fit in beautifully with the rest of her wedding details.

The main cake was made by Cakes by Bakin’ Bishop, but Sara’s mom made the groom’s cake. You may notice that one corner of it seems a bit bare– Jimmy doesn’t really care that much for icing so Sara’s mom left that little piece for him.

At the end of the ceremony, the minister–one of Jimmy’s college friends–shared a passage from a well known author, Dr. Seuss.

“You’re off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting,
So… get on your way!”

Congratulations Sara and Jimmy!!
