I was trolling around Knoxville the other day and stumbled upon a little hot spot with delicious food and great service, The Bistro near The Bijou. Ian and I grabbed lunch there. If I had known how big their portions were, we would have split something. I ordered the fried green tomato ciabata with feta, roasted red peppers, and smoked paprika aioli which came with chips and a pickle. It was so good! I’ve always been a fried tomato fan, and the flavors paired with this were just super tasty. Ian ordered one of their daily special–a chili burger type craziness–and he was quite pleased, too. Our server, was quick and on top of things, and the food didn’t take too long even with the crowd. So… to sum up, I would absolutely recommend that you stop by this adorable little spot if you’re in the area and looking for something tasty! (Not bad for an iPhone photo, right?)
