So… you may remember a post a little while back about my contest winners from the Vintage Bridal Show held by The Bride Link at The Reserve at Bluebird Hill. I would love to introduce to you Veronica and Adam, the oh so sweet couple that got the most votes for their drawing of some kitty cat love. I really enjoyed my time with them during their engagement session where I was able to get to know them a little better and to meet their adorable black lab, Nina. They are ardent animal lovers, and both of their furry family members are rescues. Nina was abandoned in the back yard of a house that Veronica was house sitting in at the time. Then little Rody, their kitten, was found on the side of the road… Veronica initially thought he was a sock. I have high praise for those who decide to make a little furry someone part of their family–especially when it wasn’t a planned event. (For anyone in the area that wants to pick up a little bundle of cuteness of their own, we have a no kill shelter in Sevierville: Pets Without Parents.) And… on to the photos! So, to begin, we had a gorgeous fall day for our session. Sure, most of the leaves had deserted the trees, but there were still a few hanging on, and there were plenty on the ground.
We styled up their session a bit with some vintage accessories and their puppy, Nina.
They were so relaxed in front of the camera–it was fun to see them play around with each other. Oh, and did I mention how gorgeous Veronica is? Check out that gorgeous skin and all that lovely hair!
We had Adam carve their wedding date into the apples, and had a laugh when he decided to chomp on one.
